Built for life on the road, this packable outback hat combines classic country styling with modern travel-ready performance. Crafted from soft, breathable 17–24 micron Australian wool felt, it’s lightweight, crushable, and designed to be packed flat in your bag without losing its shape.
Espresso is our newest colour and is a charcoal based matte brown, with a beautiful green undertone.
Inspired by classic outback and western silhouettes, this soft, packable outback hat features a cattleman-style down turned brim with a relaxed crown structure — a modern alternative to a traditional cowboy hat for travel and everyday wear. The wide, under-welted brim offers excellent UPF 50+ sun protection, making it ideal for long days outdoors. A robust brim edge helps the hat bounce back after packing, while the size-adjustable sweatband ensures a secure, comfortable fit across changing conditions.

Our wool is sourced from small-lot farms in Australia. We source short, low-quality fibres the fashion industry doesn't use and turn them into high-quality felt products designed to last the extra mile.
Wool is natural, biodegradable, recyclable, renewable, and odour-resistant. It naturally regulates temperature, meaning it's warm in winter and cool in summer.
We use natural fibres that fit within natural carbon cycles. We only use synthetic fibres where a natural alternative is unavailable so that it won't cost the earth later. We don't mix fibres so that we can separate components for reuse or recycling.
